Sania is no doubt the best tennis woman player Indian has ever produced. But, she has still a long way to go to beat the top ranking players in internationl circuit. She needs to improve her first serve to be more effective. I am sure she must be working towards it. The other problem I see in indian players, in whatever sports, that we are not physically very strong and agile. Any sport now these days are no longer only a skill game. One has to work towards increasing one fitness level.

you are 100% correct. why coaches are not motivating players towards stamina improvement. let sania stay two years abroad and work on stamina and technique improvement.I am sure within two years she will be under 5 th rank in the world.

- Stamina will not just happen because of motivation - It is also because of how you grew up, background, genetics, cultural and other factors - Instead of expecting every sports person to be a world beater, why cant we appreciate what they are doing to best of their abilities

I dont think Ramesh Krishnan was a physically strong guy, yet he once reached quarter finals of US open and even knocked out Mats Wilander in Australian open. He was a touch artist. Sania is from Hyderabad the place which has produced batsmen like Azhar and VVS laxman who are known for wristy strokeplay
