It's a lesson for hot-headed politicians like Amarinder singh who harassed opposition parties after coming to power. For such people, putting opposition leaders and supporters in jail is more important than development of the state. Jayalalitha did that and faced same fate. Amarinder did that and faced same fate. Next in the line is Dr Y S Rajashekar Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh who now started thinking that people voted him to power to ruin prestigious media group like Eenadu and dismantle opposition in the State. Power goes head of these people immediately after coming to power. They live in a make believe world that they would be rulers forever.

Well said. Most of the congress party leaders are hardcode politicians, contractors and opportunists who always in run for money and power. I seriously think I (we) stupid educated people need to participate in voting to eradicate congress from INDIA. I fell these people are responsible for economic and social backwardness for our country. Corruption, pseudo secularism are the strengths of this party. I feel our country is suffering more because of this inefficient govts like Cong, SP and than Paki terrorists.

so u think eenadu is publishing news for the better reason. No..its not.U can just have a glance on it & u can see the bias in every word it prints. As said by the Supreme Court,i don't feel any connection between print media and his money -making business. Then Y do the so called politicians go for the hurry cover on eenadu.Just give a go for the legal proceedings and u can see the outcome. N no political party who-so-ever heads it has a clean chit. Do u think India is in a better position, or are we in the better living standards just 3 yrs back? No its one n the same. So just keep changing the Govts every now and then by casting ur vote so that v can atleast hope for the better one.

Just I want share my view on Judicial System does not matter its Supreme Court or something else.
Constitution or laws are written on the basis of Social Justices. The courts are there to make sure law is implementing or not. If some issue arises which are not defined in the constitution then courts will give judgments based on current situation and visible evidences. It will not see any hidden truth and internal facts because courts need visible and provable evidences.
Take an example of reservation law. If this law is questionable then Supreme Court will ask to remove from the constitution because it is against basic right of equal opportunity of all Indians. But we need to have reservations to bring up socially and economically backward people. That is the reason this type of laws are kept under section 9.
Let%u2019s come back to Eenadu issue %u2026Media is the watch dog on the government. How can any one think govt works will be done 100 % correctly if 99% politicians are corrupt? Its govt responsibility to prove to people that what ever allegation made by media is wrong.
Mr Rao is doing two businesses which are visible to court and it is on records. AP CM is ill hunting Ramoji Rao which is not documented or not in records. In this scenario how court will support Eenadu. Rao running his finance company from 30 yrs with out a single complaint till now, then what is the necessity of ride his offices?
I am totally against of supreme court ruling. It is bliend ....

Dear Reddy, I think even the Enadu group is at fault. Freedom of the press doesn't mean you can publish libellous stuff day after day and get away with it. That's what Enadu tried to do. If you are a prestigious publication, it doesn't mean your other business interests need to be kept off the scanner. Sadly, here both YSR and Enadu are at fault here. So there is nothing much that can be done.

Dear Gauche,
I also worked in a media group in Andhra Pradesh when Chandrababu Naidu was chief minister. We criticised Naidu much more strongly. Even Naidu recalled this at Bangalore recently. But Naidu never did like this. He used to send us rejoinders, but never ever said a word against us publicly. As for as Eenadu is concerned, Ramoji Rao never compromised on journalistic values and used his paper to get undue advantage like other media groups in AP. He always fought on the principles. While others are dancing to the tunes of politicians for sake of mere Rajya Sabha membership. I know he has a soft corner for TDP, but his paper criticised Naidu government more than other papers! I think you know this. All his business establishments like Margadharsi and Priya Foods were established before Eenadu. He was an employee in a private company before entering into business and built such big business group from scratch. As for Margadarshi is concerned, this government would not have made such a hue and cry if it is not part of Eenadu. No depositor complained.Besides Eenadu group has already sold its stake to arrange necessary funds. Then where is the necessity to do all this non-sense. Because YSR is chief minister and he can do whatever he wants. What YSR has done for depositors of Prudential and Charminar Co-operative Banks? People like Ramoji Rao should be an inspiration for youth in AP so that more and more such business groups come up in the State and provide employment to thousands of people.
