Time is ripe to throw out fanatic parties. BJPs ideological base the Sangh Parivar is the most dangerous entity, formed exactly in the model of Nazis. Their intention is very clear demonise the successful minority groups. They have experimented it in Gujarat. Even judiciary and police force has become their puppets, hence many cases are transfered out of Gujarat. Karnataka is a better state than Gujarat in many ways. We don't need any lesson from Modi. We have produced tall political leaders, they are out model. BJP is insulting Kannadiga pride by telling they will pattern administration after Modi. Every respectful Kannadiga should shunt out such people who cannot recognise local tall leadership.

Hey Sharan:
Obviously the Indian National Congress.. And don't you dare believe that it is actually Congress (I).
The INC has been a true secular party for more than 100 years. It has the maximum contribution in freedom struggle. Its greatest leaders are Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru.
Whenever you have doubt on any Congress candidate's secular credentials, character or capability, just close your eyes, remember the "true" congress leaders, and cast your vote in his favor.
Even Mahatma Gandhi wanted each and every Indian to do exactly the same. In his various books he has explained how Congress is the only true party that he particularly wanted to rule India forever. Its another matter that some selfish people with vested interests killed him and falsely put it in his books and speeches that Gandhi wanted Congress to be disbanded after 1947. In fact they also removed all references from Gandhi's books and speeches about Sonia Gandhi, whom Mahatma described as a symbol of true World Unity - and he urged every Indian to cast their vote in her favor to bring India and Italy together.
So you please don't ask stupid questions like naming secular parties.. :-)

It was the fear of RSS that led to the division of India and not the congress party. It was the British who handed over a divided country and not a party. The colonial powers did not want to have a peaceful Indian sub continent. In dividing the nation they achieved that. Many Muslims too died, we need to admit the facts as facts beyond party lines. There are many honest, independent candidates vote for them.

The stories circulated by BJP with emotional masala, like so many Hindus were killed, are all nothing but farce. Post independence saw a major violence wherein large number of Hindus and Muslims were killed. British wanted the scenario that way and we as people succumbed to that. We have walked a long way after that. It was Nehru's vision that gave India the direction. The scientific and technological advancement, and self reliance in various fields was achieved because of the strong foundation laid by the erstwhile Congress governments. The Indian Institute of Science, Technology and Managements are the dream projects of Nehru. Because of that bold step were are where we are in terms of Industrial production, Space and Rocket Science and Nuclear power. We did not leap out of darkness all of a sudden. It was the well planned process that has brought us here. It is not right to forget history, similarly it is lunatic to twist history.
