I see a trend
by Noel D on May 25, 2008 02:59 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Everywhere else in world (Europe, Americas), I see young voters are liberals, progressives, hate religion and wars. It is only the old farts who are conservatives because they keep losing their brain cells. But in Asia including India, the young voters are more conservative and love their religion. May be it is because of lack of dating because of social restrictions. The problem is that youth libve too long with their parensta and those old farts brain wash their children about culture, caste, religion. Most of them make sure that they dont have girl/boy friend until they get married. This frustration makes them to focus on stupid things like religion instead of having fun doing the opposite sex.

When I go to conservative American forums and bash Christianity, I get negative replies from age 45 and above and more fun replies from 30 or below. Here it is opposite.

Indian male is still his parent's baby!

Mr. Noel, You know the value of relationship in other countries. Leaving the parents at early stage, marrying multiple times, leaving their childrens somewhere, they start indulging in crime/drugging in early age... considering all these don't you think its worth to be with parents? Better u can help ur childrens

It is the atmostphere in India where supporting BJP is termed communal , minority appeasment( nowhere in the World is there is such a diversity of religions so don't expect it in Amearica ). Personally ican't understand ur claims . The previous generation supported Congress . So how could they brainwash their children to support BJP . Also the multitude of religions means u oppose other religions than ur own .

You dont get, do you ? Mama's boy! I am not trying to say diversity of religions in AMerica. The old farts of America are worse than old farts of Indians. But in America, the youth is quite smart and dont give a damn to these old farts and their religion like we do in India. That's why they have fun and you dont.

Human beings were designed just like other animals. Give birth to children, raise them until certain age and get the hel;l out of this world. But because of all these old farts living too long we have politics and wars. It is funny when a 60-80 year old politician like George W Bush, McCain, Advani, Vajpayi or some one else makes decisions for the future of their country when they will not even be alive to see it.

Wrong logic... next you would be disowning APJ Abdul Kalam too.. :-)

Boss, a man is as young as he feels.. heard this before?..

Going by your messages (and accompanying grouse, frustration, repressed anger and preachings) I guess you have crossed 50, closing onto 60?

Have some fun mate.. :-)

Wrong again! or you must be poking fun by simply bumping up my age. According to you all wise men are old which means you must be 50 .

And by the way, I am having fun, otherwise I dont even come here and post these controversial comments against this deaf and blind majority in this message board!

some modernity...

its better to be parents kids then.

What's wrong with that ? It is called free will. When all animals can do why restrict humans. Just because majority of Indians dont have the skills to get laid or date or because have oedipus complex, it doesnt mean that what others are doing is wrong.

By the way, my point was not abt the morality. It is because Indians (Asians) dont have enough opportunities for dating, we have more communal violences, riots and dtrikes than most of the world. It is because of frustration of not having any fun in life.

Not true... If that was true, you wouldn't have had any crimes being committed in USA whom you so proudly quote as having "free will".

Violence, riots and crimes are committed not out of frustration, but out of choice. Nothing in the world (frustration or not) will dictate your choices for you.
In fact, if at all, the habit of "free will" and exercising choices freely, will only get ingrained deeper into one's mind when it comes to exercising the choice to riot, loot, murder or kill..
How's this argument for a change?

At least 70% of the crimes, violence in world are out of frustration. Frustration out of poverty, not getting opportunities because they were born in poor black families in America who were made to work under slavery without getting paid. Unlike in India, there is no reservation in USA to compensate fofr the injustice done to thgese peopel.

People like you havee choice. Just because you are lucky and live in golden palace doesnt mean that every one else had these opportunities. These violent people are suicidal minded. That's why there is so much gun violence in America because it is aint worth living in America as a poor black. I know of at least three instances where people were denied jobs because they were black even though they were qualified and given some other excuses.

Just because you are lucky don't assume others misery is because of theiir own deed. Your theory holds good only for those criminals sho came from well to do families.

It is because those societies have developed and come out of dark ages. Here we are still in those times. May be after few hundred years we may also become enlightened.

It is simple metrics. in India, our previous generation doesnt access internet for these purposes. They will spend their times in churches, mosques and temples and masturbating in front of lord Jesus, Lord Rama and Allah. Or they will be gossiping about neighbors daughter who ran away with a guy from another caste. So it has to be the young people who post these comments.

Great. . .
I thought as much.... I mean, fallacious assumptions will only deliver fallacious logic, and fallacious logic is dangerous..
In short, you have already arrived at a conclusion that everyone who posts here is young, and THEN you expect to see young people giving fresh new ideas, and old people giving traditional rhetorics... :-)
It's like saying I shot a deer at 250 meters near the big oak tree... want proof? there's the oak tree..
