Issuing fatwas does not take away the collective responsibility of Muslims to apologize for the carnages their ancestors have unleashed on peaceful Hindu peoples everywhere. This is just another antic to dodge the real issue of why islam is so violent and why even genocide is condoned when unleashed upon non-Muslims. Fatwas are just a means to buy public favour. The media, led by the likes of Rediff, is ofcourse always willing to lap up such nonsense and preach to the rest of us about Islam's impeccable credentials.
Tomorrow the media will ask, why hasnt the RSS done what the JUI has done? This proves the RSS is fascist and communal and blah...
The obvious irony is ofcourse lost on everybody: why does a religion have to issue a clarification that should be blindingly obvious in the first place? ever heard of Christian/Hindu/Buddhist/Jain leaders having to come up before a crowd and shout from the rooftops that our religion condemns violence, terrorism and rape? It's funny to see that Muslims are having to do just that, which goes to show just how much islam is identified with these things. And for good reason too - for enturies Muslims did nothing other than loot, rape and plunder. All these labels are justly associated with Islam and cannot be shaken by just another fatwa - one condemning violence amidst a sea of fatwas that encourage and/or condone violence.

There is a say that Foolish are harder than Knights.....It is easy to convince Knights but impossible to convince Foolpeoples...When some fool extremist will do bomb blast People like Harish will say "see all Muslims are terrorist"...When leaders of Indian Muslims will condemn the terrorist attack People like Harish will say "It is just drama and Muslims will celebrate for killings of innocents and why not these muslims issus fatwas against terrorism"...when Muslims issues Fatwas against terrorism now they are agin digging past that Muslims destroyed past.........I agree Muslims attack in this country but did they really destroyed everything check the population of Hindus it is 80% if HIndus are really destroyed then how can so many Hindus are left.......See Jews have been destroyed by Nazis completely......However If Indian Raja's have been defeated it is because of thier non unity....Indian Raja's have been always defeated same case is applicable in today's world also even though we are struggling very hard we are getting same issues povert, lack of education...Inflation...it is because we are still united......

Very good point. But to tell that to Muslims they first have to have a brain which they sold long back to Mullahs.
