In the parliamentary system, we elect candidates who win on thin margins by appealing to certain religions and castes and they call the shots. That way the majority is at the mercy of minorities.
Presidential form of government is better for us. That way we can elect somebody who appeals to most of the people in the entire state or country.

Moreover, the coalition government is at the mercy of silly parties such as DMK and PMK, who have hardly 10 MPs, but they call the shots.
