Many people here talk about BJP as a hindu party and not secular and so on. Have you ever wondered what binds indians who have so much diverstiy in their food,looks,language and culture? It is one thing only and that is hinduism. Hinduism is the fabric of india. Deny it and you are denying india. Try mud slinging it and you are mud slinging your motherland. The stronger hinduism is the stronger india is. Even secular. Because hinduism by nature is benevolent. Our saints were more secular then any of these politicians. So if BJP wants to project a strong sense of hinduism in the people should we not be promoting it? This is what the pseudos like rajdeep,barkha dutt etc dont understand. Nor do most muslims. The sooner hindus realize this and the sooner the non hindus realize this the better it is for everyone. Hinduism in india is to be made stronger and more beautiful not beaten.

Well said.there is no need to bash HInduism to prove one's secular credentials. That is what is happening today. When you have neighbouring Islamic countries there has to be some sensitivity towards HIndus also.

Rightly said MAN.Hinduism is a way of living and not what the pseudosecularists have thought and been projecting.Hinduism is to be studied in depths and widths,the way Adi Shankara,Ramanuja,Madhwacharya,Basavanna,Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Ramana Maharshi have preached and practised it.With changing times there have been some modifications as is seen in all religions.Do the Christians and Muslims practise the exact way it has been scriptured in their Holy books.Look at Sikhism where in a dagger is a part of their custom.Some of these reporters are articulate and hence look & sound like pseudo intelectuals.No one can tarnish the great heritage of HINDUISM.It has to be nurtured,protected and modified.No religion says so vocally"SARVE JANAHA SUKHINO BHAVANTU".

It should be noted how Christianity is on the wane in the West... the more conservative ones do not concentrate on God but rather on fringe, foolish issues like abortions, homosexuality rather than the higher purpose of life. God has definitely been sidelined by some religions and sections (like the commies), that will prove to be costly and destructive. The only purpose of humans is to realize God. The Hindus have been saying this from the roof tops and from the ditches. Some people are fooling themselves by antagonising the Hindus... more and more wretchedness, misery and delusion is being prepared for them
