I quite agree with the writers view point,we are not taking the chinese threat seriously.Their sphere of influence has greatly increased, and Nepal with the maoaists is a very serious threat to Indias soverignity what with an almost porous border.The north east is almost infiltrated with chinese supported rebel groups of all hue and a population which feels alienated from the mainland.
