It is a matter of joy that the communal policies of Congress have boomeranged on the party and it has been defeated. (SOME OF THE Communal policies of Congress: supporting terrorists so long as they are muslims, presenting the first-ever communal budget with muslim districts getting specific funds, counting muslims in the Army, organizing a report to say that the karsevaks in Godhra killed themselves or some such stupid thing, etc.)
Apart from the 'Divide Hindus and Muslims/Christians' policy of the Congress, one more reason for its defeat is its utter disregard for the monstrous, unbelievable price rises due to its wrong policies like service tax on too many new things in just two years, and then distributing about 70000 crores of our money as bribes to people who have loans to repay..

Looks like you not read the article properly. She was not crying. She was merely telling off Mrs Sonia Gandhi for failing to understand India. I dont think Sonia can be blamed anyway. Her Italian mind surely fails to understand that India is a nation with different regional states that need to have their own desires and ideas. 10 Janpath needs to be open to ideas. Else we will achieve what Gandhi desired a long time ago, which is disbanding of the Congress

hi rahul, the reason i also felt why she was crying was because of these statements. "When everyone knew that the BJP was consolidating itself in Karnataka, why in January-February 2006 did 10, Janpath not do everything possible to maintain the alliance with the Janata Dal-Secular? When H D Kumaraswamy, Deve Gowda's son, was blackmailing the party to become chief minister the Congress high command should have been flexible.
The Congress's debacle in Karnataka began on February 9, 2006, the day Kumaraswamy won the confidence vote in the state assembly with the BJP's help. "
i thought/felt she was bemoaning the fall of Congress-JDS govt. i felt there was an undercurrent of sadness. but her advice though is spot on. hope congress acts upon that, because in democracy, it is very good to have strong 2 National parties. though not saying this out of love for Congress...:) i voted for the first time and lo... in my constituency my vote has really counted(travelled from hyd to blore). the candidate has trounced a very 3-times sitting MLA who was not that bad..(but i think was in a wrong party...:))
