Congress behind this
by suneera rahman on May 25, 2008 04:29 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Gujjars are like any other community in India except the fact that recently the have learn the bargaining tactics under a leadership- a quality that becomes a must for survival in the democracy that thrives on dividing hindu majority.
Unfortunately this leadership has fallen prey to the congress which is controlled now by Xian crookedness. Under ST status conversions can happen with no hassles.
Why now? I had anticipated this the moment Cogress leaders blamed BJP of politicising terrorist attack. In the name of Minority appeasement, the soft stand taken by Congress towards terrorists is known to every rural and urban India- atleast BJP has been successful in communicating that to people. Any terrorist attack in the country errodes Cogress base. At every such instance Congress wnats something that forces BJP govt. to take strict and unpopular measures.

meena'a have 300 IAS officer as they are SC while Gujjars have only 2 IAS. This is ust an indicator why they r angry.

BJP in its state election manifesto promised to inclde gujjars in ST list. But after coming to power, they backed out. Like after all hue and cry they made (remember "mandir wohi banayege"? slogan), they didnot put a single brick just to stay in power.
