US response

I think it is high time we conclude that our intelligence agencies performance have been dismal .
I dont see any downside of seeking assistance of the best reputed agencies like CIA , Mossad , MI5 or KGB .

People seem to just overreact and emotional over US involvement . We should not forget that during the last 4 years after Sept 11 ,2001 the CIA has managed to compile a huge database on suspcicous people . The CIA could also act as a source to locate people in Pakistan etc .. The Govt of pakistan would never help us directly because of obvious reasons but might as well do so through CIA .

Of course , we should keep in mind our autonomy etc but operational help like accessing the database should be taken .
Similar to miltary hearddware and technology , the Mossad is known to have the best and well trained agents . It might be a good idea to seek assitance in training and managerial expertise .

The British MI5 has a huge array of devices , famous from James Bond era ..:).

We have good relations with all these countries

Intelligence is busy doing survey wanted by their political bosses - which party will get how many votes in which state, which opponent politician is doing what, all such nonsense. Where is the time to do this kind of work? Even if they do, who cares for them? Our MM singh is Mad Man Singh.
