The author had a good point.. but a biased one.. Its not just the higher castes.. But even the different castes among the dalits follow untouchability among each other..
Untouchability itself is to be reviewed and analysed..
In india, it was always mutual and harmless untouchability, where people lived like "You dont disturb me, i wont disturb you"..
But consider the untouchability followed by the west and colonial britishers.. its more of a slavery, where the master can do anything to the slaves and keep him isolated..
Its really a shame to us that we are applying a concept that's doesnt fit to us..
