i feel sainik schools can also act as breeding grounds for tomorrows athletes.. sme time back i read an article were the PT of some sainik school was responsible for churning out marathon champions.. i am sure this is not an isolated incident.. sainik schools have generally had a very good physical training program. this must be extended and funds should come from the sports ministry too. That way infrastructure can be put in place faster and two problems facing the nation can be solved
