I am also from TamilNadu. What infra he has created - yes, may be for his son's companies...so far DMK has found time to distribute color TV's and offer free land only. The electricity situation in TN is worsening. Have some data before you post any comment here...

Just bcos he brought infrastructure (does he really brought one???) doesnt give him power to do corruption.
After all, bringing infrasturcutre is his duty. Infact, he should bring infrastructure to all over india. He is an Union Minister and not TN Minister

You are absolutely right. Forget about India, I doubt if he has done anything for TN too. He is like any hindi-belt corrupt minister. SS canal project is just to pursue their corrupt and anti-god, anti-nature agenda. And yeah he calls up his boss Karuna to inaugurate the same bridge twice, while bigger GoI projects in other states go on without fanfare. Even within the Chennai city all infrastructure projects are at the same level as what JJ left 3 years back!

T R Balu has two big bunglaws in centre of chennai city,a posh commercial area t nagar each next to next same identical painting,same design and same lawn with common passage to both bunglaws,apprantly for his two wifes family showing no indifference to both wifes.that is why for both wifes,he had given two gas compaines.no change in house,not even little design change, same type of gas business to both wifes.i could say balu is a good husband, good family man, live for his family not for him
