Hyde Act, to use our cliche phrase,an internal affair of USA. We can hope to persuade US but not make demands on it.
The talk from the leftist is not exactly friendly nor respectful to US in order to be persuasive to further Indian needs.
Left is perhaps fanning distrust hoping to polarise India on its relationship for or against US. Their minority bloc politics is on this basis. This strategy can have only one response, total isolation of left itself from body politic of the nation.
Nobody wants that, all talent available is certainly welcome. But this is the option they will be imposing on themselves, if they move away fron the consensus of non-alignment.
