Congress did not bring independence to us. there were people who contributed in every aspect be it non voilence or redical.... add to it the Geo political position post WWII was responsible
the issue is Congress got power handed over without a damn fight except doing debates and processions and puting up all kind of elecetion shams
This is the reason today it has lost votes all over the place and deserves to as well as they practice divisive policies and the Nehru family a cancer that refuses to cure
No wonder Chinese forces humilated and bashed us thanks to his vague ideas on Tibet and extremely poor understanding of international politics

It is Congress and then Mahatma Gandhi who started mass movement of Independence. Other movements started after taking inspiration from Congress. Ther is no doubt about that majority of educted people doing service & helping to British rule.
Post independence corrupt oeople started joining congress as it was ruling party. Ther congress has lost its efficiency and vote share to regeonal parties like DMK, TDP and religeonal-Castist parties like BJP, Akali, SP, BSP. But with pwer these parties have become more corrupt that congress. That is why Congress came back in the power again.
Regardin Nehru India is going to become super power because of him only. He satrted all IIT'S, IIM's. BARC,ISRO, NCL like institutes and constructed dams .
