If tiger will be extinct, then India will lose a major iconic symbol, the eaquation is as simple as that. about 80% Forest officials are corrupt and that's why tiger killing is so easy for poachers. Countries like China have demand for Tiger parts for their traditional medicines, which I think is totally meaningless, and indian poachers are simply killing Tigers to provide CHina and neighbors with what they need. Strict punishment should be imposed on Poachers. In the past a poacher name Sansar chand was captured with more than 1000 animal Skins and was kept in prison for 10- 20 days.
