Amazing
by Dheeraj Akula on May 02, 2008 04:14 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Around 100 years before, India as well as the remaining world were able to live without nuclear energy as well as without petroleum products and natural gas.

Today, we are not able to live without them. Isn't it amazing?

We made this world a dangerous place to live. Nuclear waste, pllution, global warming and so on.

Who are "developed" and "advanced"? We or our ancestors?

Are we more "advanced" than our ancestors?

100 years back, population was just below 150 million in india, and now it is over 1 billion.

Tell me how the needs of 1 billion people will be met, with out hydrocarbons. Do you suggest us to go back to stone age & bullock carts???

Let me tell you, we are advances by miles than our ancestors. We have been told by our ancestors not to cross the ocean and it is a sin. We did not care, and now we can send 10 satellites in a single mission. We are able to reach Kashmir from Kanyakumari in a day. We are able to transport wheat from Punjab to South in couple of days. We have more people and so more requirements.

So, as long as water cannot make a IC engine to work, we need fuel. Any silly arguments will not help it,not even our ancestors, it needs fuel, f......u.....e......l
