Mungerilal ki jail yatra!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Mar 31, 2008 11:17 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The British colonialists were tyrants as history teaches us, and many freedom fighters of the time had to undergo imprisonment for a cause. Now India has been free for 60 years, and the Congress party having ruled the country and many states for over 50 years, and if it feels that freedom has not been won, then whose fault is it? Is Rahul Gandhi going to prison win Congress party U.P. or just it is an eyewash? With so much attention being given by the media to Rahul Gandhi's road shows of sleeping in an Adivasi village, or sharing bread with the poor. It is not surprising to see the logic behind this venture, as it shows how compassionate Rahul can be. His great grand father, grand mother, and father were at the helm of governing India, and the poors and Adivasis have been there where the were during the colonial times, and can he make a change with his mother as the head of the present coalition government? It is all an eyewash and the media is putting this Mungerilal on the pedestal for whatever reason, the media only knows.
