JGN Taking a few passages from the Qur%u2019an out of proper historical and textual context will not give a proper understanding of the religious scripture,,,,,,,,, Why is it so impossible to believe that we Muslims have possesed knowledge and understanding while the West was living through the Dark Ages and the Black Plague? So many things that have been taken for granted today ,have their origins in the wonderful lands of Islam...We as Muslims and as a culture have been gulity of amnesia, most have forgotten or just dont know about our illustrious past. What would today's world be without us??? YOU HATE WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. ISLAM IS PEACE AND LOVE!!!!

Frelancer - that is the crux of the problem. 'you' muslims or 'we' hindus did not possess knowledge or understanding. It was individuals who did that, and they would have done that whatever be their religion.

Yes Mr.Murli, but it is very difficult to make the religious fanatics understand this simple fact. They are the same type who repeats "ente appooppakku oru ana undarnnu" (my grandfather had an elephant - famous novel of Vaikkom Mohammed Bashir)
