This dumb Professor became victim of Sovient Propaganda
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Mar 29, 2008 10:11 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Ask him, he will narrate how all problems were solved in USSR. But as it turned out, USSR collapsed due to incoherencies of its own weigth.

All communist leaders in India are from a generation prior to USSR collapse. They were victims of Soviet propaganda.

Communists believe in internationalism much like Ummah of Islamists.

They are worst kind of anti-Hindu, as well as pro-jehadi.

As Meghnad Desai recently said, after NANDIGRAM and surrender to Islamists on Taslima issue, CPIM has no future in India.

You are not following the line of argument of the article. In states where they are not in power (this has nothing to do with the erstwhile USSR) the ground level Communist
Workers are able to do good work. I know from personal experience that communist party members are the only ones (again in states where they are not in power) who are willing to help deserving persons irrespective of the ability of the supplicant to pay. They are also the only ones that do not advocate giving of bribes and the only ones that are respected by official agencies for this reason.

Cadre of RSS or Gandhians at grasroot level are equally idealist. It is the policy of the party and not well-intended individuals are real issue.

Nop!. It is not about the policy of the party but about well intentioned individuals. It is individuals that make a difference. Parties never do. Marx and Lenin were much above the Communist Party. Gandhiji as an individual was also much above the Congress Party. Now all parties even the Communists would like to claim him as one of their own. There are numerous such examples at the grassroots. Committed people who work without getting noticed.

Policy gives direction. A well intended person can go upto a certain level only. Beyond that it is the policy which projects him. There are many gandhis in India, but we remember only the Gandhi who opposed British politically.

Cut the Crap, Mr.Singh!!! Communists belonging to the original communist movement had reasons and was quite a logical political view. Thats why there was worldwide leftist movements starting from Russia, China and many countries across the world. But today, communism has been proved as nothing but a hipocratic piece of shit. Everyone in today's world wants to have s share of wealth and prosperity and thats why the communist philosophy no longer remains valid. Almost all political people are power hungry and scrounges for political gain and so are these commies who claim to help deserving people, deal with caste issues and all. Let me tell you , Brahmin and other upper cast Left Front politicians and followers in West Bengal look for upper caste grooms and brides only for their children. All are hipocrits. Did u get that!!! Your personal experience may be an isolated case or may be you are a Leftist

No I fail to see your point. The article is about states where the Communists are not in power. You seem to be unable to get away from your fascination with Bengal where the Communists are in power and have developed nefarious means to maintain power. Bengal Communists are thugs. Talk about Communist Party Members in Punjab Haryana (as in this article) Rajasthan Gujarat etc. There are plenty of good people in these states that are doing good work but who do not get noticed since they are not close to the corridors of power.
