Since, the state Assembly Acted unanimously, therefore, it seems to be good a decision, became imperative in order to curb the high handedness of beaurocrates. Since Public Servants always strive to travel beyond their powers and jurisdiction, therfore, it will work as a lesson to such minded peoples. In India, there is devision of powers and functions and therfore, none should transgress into the affairs of others and to ensure smooth functioning of the system, the appropriate laws were framed by law makers. This time a particular law, framed for meeting with such menaces, has been acted upon. Thats all, then why such hue and cry are being made?

you are right.... Modi sneezes and everyone thinks he has murdered. I am sure more farmers in Vidarbha due to lousy government policies die in a month than in all the riots which have happened allegedly with Modi's support !

It is not clear from the article, what is the offence and why he was punished. Why he did not seek legal remedies? We want learned legal opinion about the same.

Are you a judge,Mr.Ali? How can you decide that Mr. Nandlal has acted beyond his powers. It may be possible that to teach a lesson to an upright beauricrat, all the politicians have come together. It doesn't mean that the politicians have taken right action. You and me cann't decide this. This case should be decided by the Supreme Court. If the upright noncorrupt officials get such treatment, then it will discourage the young talented persons to enter into Govt.services.
