I think there is high-handedness because EC did not toe the ruling party. Since the CM is a party in this case, punishing EC is absolutely wrong. The case should have been handed over to the judiciary. The legislature can not and should not be executive in a democracy. We are in a sorry state of affairs, to say the least.
