In India there seems to be
no real concept of punishment.

Harsh punishment like hanging in public by
their gurdas and kapooras / stoned in public
until death should be the norm for all such
crimes.

In fact, the family of the accused must be
coaxed to also participate in the process.

Such a leniency of such heinous crime only encourages lawlessness and anarchy, rape, murder . rather he should be condemned being a IG of state he has done such cruel crime . It is a rarest of rare crime

yes , this harsh punishment of hanging in public will befit the situation of present crime punishment . Middle eastern contries punishment is better for such heinous crime . pl see the level of crime and done by whome ?. If we follow the harsh punishment people at higher echeleon of power will think 1000 times before doing such crimes
