We needn't bend over backwards to please the Chinese. Why should we? China is yet to come to terms with the merger of Sikkim with India in 1975.
The Chinese had for years, supported the terrorists in the North East, before giving up the policy.
Viewed either way, the Chinese are a threat to our country. Pakistan has befriended China by giving away a part of the occupied Kashmir and in turn gets all sorts of weapons, including nuclear capable ones.
It would be nice if the non-Chinese provinces like Tibet and Chinese Turkestan [Sinkiang] break free of Beijing. It would remove the immediate threat from China.
No sentiments in this regard, unlike our home grown Communists.
