S.M.Krishna is unwanted junk inside the party itself. Its highly impossible to Congress to elect him as a Chief Minister even it gets absolute mejority in the state.

Krishna is a spent force. He has rested & rusted in Maharashtra too much. He is now no use to Karnataka as a Chief Minister. Yedayurappa is a ambitious, honest (which is very rare) politician of whom all the lazy/ useless bureaucrats are wishing not to become chief minister.

Krishna developed Bangalore as an IT savy city, but ignored the interests of local Karnataka people. IT revolution in Bangalore saw huge influx of outsiders and the local Kannadigas got reduced to minority and feel strangers in their own city. The city stands dominated by Tamils, Northies, Telgus & Muslims.
