What Tibetens should do?
by sreedevi g on Mar 20, 2008 08:19 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Free Tibet will be a dream unless they do some meaningful things. Get the help of stronger nation and they can definetly involve US since US is looking for a base near to China. Another suggestion is Tibetians should do aggressive hunger strike and couple of deaths will open world's eye against china.
Thirdly, get India and Russia involved and pressurise china. Since there is a change of Regime in Russia, it will favour western power house lead my US and it will be a unilateral power against china
This kind of nonviolence led my His holiness is absurd and wastage of time and resources. How it is going to impact China that too from refugee camp?

Wht do you think US will support Tibet's cause. Chinese has financed American debt's over the years and low cost chinese goods are critical to keep infaltion down in US. US needs China as much as China needs US. And anyway, US has proved over time that they are in the game only for themselves and will go to any extent to secure their interests. The bloody murders of hundred thousands during Nixon/Kissinger era and its equivalent in the Bush era in Iraq are examples. They will support terrorist and leftist governments when it suits them and oppose when it suits them. Relying on US for anything is naive. Tibetans are our own brothers and we owe it to them to support them in their cause. If not we should be ready to part with UP and eastern states in times to come.
