Rule of Law must prevail
by arun singh on Mar 20, 2008 10:10 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Raj Thakare has committed a crime of spreading hatred and he should be convicted and put in jail. I am sure if he is forced to live an ordinary prisoner's life inside the jail, he will immediately stop doing the politics of spreading hatred. But sadly, a corrupt and extremely poor country like India is always afraid to take action against such people. Bhindaranwale is one such example. Now every body agrees that if government had taken action against Bhindaranwale in the begining itself, the people of Punjab in general and Sikhs in particular, would have been saved from suffering so much of miseries. The history should not be repeated in Maharashtra now.

Maharashtra is as Bimaru as Bihar if you take Mumbai and Pune out of it. Do I need to remind you where is the sucide capital of India? Or, Vidarbha and Marathwada are not part of Maharashtra? Only Mumbai is Maharashtra?

I agree with Indianboy. Nobody is objecting people migrating to Mumbai. The objection is they are trying to change Marathi culture. If you are migrating for job, request you to aty away from entering local politics. Politician from UP & Bihar is trying to gain political advatage from increasing numbers of migrant from this states.

By "Changing" Marathi culture, migrants have made Mumbai a rich city. If it was not so, Mumbai would have been no different from any city of Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Marathwada.
