I would like to know about the anti-South Indian riots that happened in Mumbai. I wasn't born then hence would like to know th details. How many were murdered ? And what did the leaders in the South do about it ?

I don't know much about this riot either, but I guess you are right, the politicians or the leaders of the southern states must have made some good decisions after the anti-south riot.
The South is not that bad anymore, still lot of development is required, but the south is not the backward states of India.
It will be interesting to hear from somebody who knows about that recent past in the South.
