Marathis lead a very culture-less and troubled existence. For example, they have not produced even a single literary figure of the caliber of TulsiDas, Valmiki, Surdas, Kabir, Ram Dhari Singh Dinkar, Maha Devi Varma, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. All they produce are Dada Kondke and his double meaning dialougues.

Sad that you have not heard of anyone called Sant Dnyaneshwar, Tukaram, Sant Ramdas, Kusumagraj, P L Deshpande, and several others. Talking of culture, some other names also seem to have been otside the purview of your cultured and learned mind, such as Dadasaheb Phalke, Lata Mangeshkar, V Shantaram, C Ramchandra, etc. You also seem to have forgotten that a lot of the intellectual drive behind the political thought process of the nation - of varied dimensions and facets - was provided by people like Tilak, Agarkar, Gokhale, Ranade, Phule, Ambedkar, Savarkar, etc.
And talking of Dada Kondke and his double meaning dialogues, it is sad that a pervert like you saw only that in his movies - go see them again and you will notice some other values enshrined in those movies.
