Should India be more proactive?
by ankit singhvi on Mar 19, 2008 12:28 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I think India should come out with an unambiguous stance of opposing any excessive force and also starting dialogue with Tibet representatives.
The reasons are clear

1. If India wants to be a superpower, start behaving like one, and be firm on a stance

2. Tibet is strategically located to North Indian border. Having a peaceful region is in India's interest

3. China is always taking us for granted, infact opposes our growth. We have no reason to be shy of what we believe in i.e., ethnic harmony.

There is NO reason for India to interfere in this matter...

Which ever way you look at it...This is either a domestic issue or an issue between 2 countries.

There is no reason why India should take sides.

Stay out of others matter. Lets focus on our borders. Our Porous borders with Bangladesh and Pakistan is a bigger concern that is a threat to National security. Tibet is NOT !!!

Lets not fight others wars.
