Chinese Oprression in Tibet
by William Drastic on Mar 19, 2008 09:48 AM   Permalink

It is most unfortunate that in the 21sr century, a country like China is forcibly in occupation of Tibetan territory while pointing fingers at India. That India has not taken a stand on the current protests is no surprise as we have never ever taken a stand on any issue; You need statesmen and men of character to do so. That we have none on the horizon has been a given fact for very long. Similar oppression continues in another neighbouring country - Mynamar, an ideological extension of China in many ways. That the Cinese leadership is not willing to allow its people freedom enjoyed by humans elsewhere is the direct result of their selfishness and lust for power. But, as has repeatedly been proven in history, oppression cannot continue for ever.
