Karnataka voters should give a befitting and decisive mandate against this unprincipled and petty minded politician, his son and their party men. Let the mandate be so decisive that no other politician or political party could ever dream of the kind of treachery and drama that these guys have played on the Indian Polity in general and on the people of the state in particular.Let them choose either Congress or BJP or any other party they feel like. But Deve Gowda, his sons and other contestants from their party should not get their deposits back. This would be the best gift that the enlightned voters of Karnataka can give it to Indian Political system.

I think people of Karnataka have spoken. By giving Gowda's party a big thums up in the recent local body elections. Now would you accept the people's verdict? :P

Mr. Very Amused,
When were the local body elections held sir? Was it during the last 15-30 days? You were talking about the local body elections held when Deve Gowda's son was still heading the Government. Based on these election results only, Deve Gowda etal became so overconfident of their actions and taken the people of the state for granted and played a series of cruel jokes on them. By referring to the elections that were held 5-6 months ago (i.e. much before the fall of the government) as very recently held elections, you are trying to mislead the readers for the resons best known to you. My suspicion is that you may be penning for Deve Gowda or his sons.

Mr. Very Amused, Do you mean to say that since the people of Karnataka have already given their mandate in the local body elections, there is no need for fresh elections for the state assembly? Do you also mean to say that either Deve Gowda or Kumaraswamy should straight away be sworn as Chief Minister of the State?
