True. But, not because it followed Gandhian path, or Nehruvian ideals.

Deoband, the jehad producing factory, opposed partition BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WANT TO MUSLIMS IN INDIA TO BECOME EVEN MORE MINORITY AFTER CREATION OF PAKISTAN!

Their Goal of Islamization has got severest setback- any radicalism of muslims will be crushed by 85% non-Muslims, if not already.

What do you mean by Deoband doesnot supported the idea of creating a pakistan at the time of separation.That is why all muslims didnot left for Pakistan.
Can you provide more information about Deoband regarding this.

That means Deoband where against Seperate State of Pakistan hence they are true Nationalist.
They Doesn't Preach Jihadi Islam which is taught in Pak and Afghan Madarssas.
