Theocracies are failed states
by Sharad on Mar 14, 2008 10:51 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Any State which is based on religion (like the islamic countries) or an ideology which denies freedom to a section of its population or the entire population (communists and dictatorships) is a failed state. The democracies of the world should work vigorously to change these countries. That is the best course for humans.

If india, us russia france and germany can go and attack arabia, iran, uae and few other countries and invade and get control over the oil wealth, all these countries will start follwoing some peaceful religion like budhism. We got to do it. This is important to the world. The way oil prices are going, falling dollars, sub prime crisis, food shortages around the world are saying something that such a secnario is not entirely out of sync with the current thinking of intellectuals and political scientitists.
