Rhetoric vs Historic
by sadaChiddi on Mar 13, 2008 04:31 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Many morons here dont have any standing on Indian history, thats why they color the Mugal
rule as Hindu vs Muslim fight.
The truth seems strange to many

The Great Hindu King Rana Pratap's military general is a Muslim - Hakim Khan Suri
The Great Maratha King - Shivaji's trusted Military general is -Haider Ali Kohari; Ibrahim
Khan and Daulat Khan were prominent in the navy; and Siddi Ibrahim was chief of artillery.
the issue doesnt end here
Aurangazeb relied on the Hindu King Raja Jai Singh to defaet Shivaji,Two of the highest
ranked generals in Aurangzeb's administration, Jaswant Singh and Jaya Singh.
There are thousands of such similar examples where Muslims occupying highest military positions and Hindu Generals being the back bone of Mugal military.
RSS and their pyscho organizations dont
want you to know this, because their favourite pass time is to pit Hindus and Muslims citing
Mughal rule in India

Yeah sadaChiddi..
Don't know why people are so against good angelic figurines like the Mughals and the British..
I mean, the Congress wants us to believe that they were instrumental in driving out the British.. . . and people still vote for them? For ousting such great fantastic people?
Can't understand the public here at all. But glad that great thinking souls like sadaChiddi are still alive and preaching well so that public in general may wake up and get to know the real great Indian traditions left behind by Mughals and the British.
The likes of Modi can go on shouting himself hoarse to praise non-entities and miniscule personalities like Shivaji and Gandhiji, but the real winners - the great Mughals and the fantastic British will never lose, as long as sadaChiddi is alive..

You failed in your attempt to sound sarcastic because Mughals indeed left a great tradition of tolerance.Thats why Hindus and Muslims together stood behind Zafar the last Mughal during 1857 war of independence.
Just check how fundamentalist historians i India are trying to re-interpret history to show Mughals in badlight-Here is interview of Romila Thapar in rediff.

@sadaChiddi....
Now why would a great historian like you need some iddi-piddi Romila Thapar to second the opinion?
And you are walking on dangerous territory mate.. you yourself are now trying to malign the name of the British..... that's not good. People might take hint from you, and start extending your logic of "invaders are not good" to apply to Mughals as well.
That will be very detrimental to the excellent preaching you have heretofore offered us in here.
