Historical records compiled by Muslim historian Maulana Hakim Saiyid Abdul Hai attest to the iconoclasm of Qutb-ud-din Aybak. The first mosque built in Delhi, the "Quwwat al-Islam" was built after the demolission of the Hindu temple built previously by Prithvi Raj and certain parts of the temple were left outside the mosque proper.[24] This pattern of iconoclasm was common during his reign.

Sakaracharya had played %u2018a demon's role%u2019 in destruction of Buddhist statues and monuments at Nagarjunakonda (in present-day Andhra Pradesh). %u2018A. N. Longhurst, who conducted excavations at Nagarjunakonda, had recorded this in his invaluable book, Memoirs of the Archaeological Survey of India No. 54, The Buddhist Antiquities of Nagarjunakonda (Delhi, 1938, p. 6). The ruthless manner in which all the buildings at Nagarjunakonda have been destroyed is simply appalling and cannot represent the work of treasure-seekers alone since so many pillars, statues, and sculptures have been wantonly smashed to pieces. Local tradition relates that the great Hindu philosopher and teacher, Sankaracharya, came to Nagarjunakonda with a host of followers and destroyed the Buddhist monuments. The cultivated lands on which ruined buildings stand represent a religious grant made to Sankaracharya.%u2019

First, please show me if you have some non-Muslim source.
Secondly, Buddhists did not come here from outside India. They were born in India. Buddhism was considered to be one of the branches of Hinduism. Buddha was even considered to be an incarnation of Vishnu. Even today, Hindus have absolutely no hatred or ill feelings towards Buddhists.
Thirdly, if you say that so many Buddhist temples were destroyed, it is also true that so many Buddhist temples were built here. What about that?
Finally, B R Ambedkar himself blamed Muslims for the decline of Buddhism in India.

It is also a fact that Buddhism was considered to be one of teh several branches of Hinduism and Buddha was worshiopped as one of the incarnations of Vishnu.
Don't pickup your material from milligazette, which is a Muslim newspaper.
Search for "Persecution of Buddhists" and you will find that Buddhists were persecuted by Muslims as well as Christians.

commie Thapar came up with the theory of Buddhist temple destruction to please the Muslims on the Babri Masjid issue. There are no proofs as such produced in this regard.

Search for "Persection of Buddhists" in Wikipedia. It says Buddhsists were persecuted by Muslims and Christians in several countries. It does not talk about persection by Hindus.
