The CBI Investigated the case and they have concurred with the investigation conducted by the Goa Police officer Nerlon. The death of Scarlett was never a case of Rape and murder. It is true that Goa Police registered a case of Rape and murder under media pressure but the rape and murder charges could not be sustained. It appears that Fiona propounded the theory of rape and murder for ulterior motives and ill gains.
