Shameless India
by Kumar on Mar 12, 2008 11:29 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

India took a high moral ground and decided to lecture Britain on racism when the Shilpa Shetty controvery erupted as a result of a television show. Now Britain gets to see India in action. Indians are the biggest hypocrites in the world and India is one of the worst nation in the world full of castism, chaos, curruption, non-compassion, pain, injustice and misery. I thank the God everyday for giving me a chance to get out of that place where justice, fairness and ethics are raped and murdered every single day.

Your hypercritism suggests that you have great hate for India. Nobody will take you seriously as a result. Tone it down and it wont be seen as hysteria.

Really? You seem to be another insensitive person. Grave injustice doesn't seem to bother you at all, unless it happens to you personally or your family. How typical? How will be the rot fixed if people are not even outraged by injustice and criminal raj?

all this is true at this point of time.

Remember only in India jews, parsi were protected .
all these exist in all parts of world and in india it is less, thats it.
when you talk abt rape Indians make it an issue because they feel virginity as most sacred...

India is still better than any other place ...but we are tending toward that.

People responsible for everything, make people aware thier responsibilty the entire nation changes.
people often talk about their "rights", but what about their "duties" ?

For criminals and anti-socials there is heavan on earth, it's call India. Criminals and anti-socials are the only ones whom the Indian 'system' benefits. The satan has rewarded them well by giving them the Indian society.

My friend..not only india ..the entire world is a big hypocrite.you name the country and it will turn out to be a hypocrite.as i am writing iam also a hypocrite and so are you.only the degree of hypocrisy differs.we all are hypocrites at some time or the other in life.the system in india needs a change, laws need change.there should be strong deterrents for crime and punishment should be severe.capital punishment should be expedited.and it is the people..people like you and me who should confront the govt to change the system.the problem with us is that we don't learn from our mistakes and we don't want to change for better.indians are definitely good and competent in so many fields but there are these drawbacks which always haunt them.we go and vote the same corrupt politicians every time inspite of knowing everything.
I can understand ur frustation .I too feel the same.but the mentality has to be changed and it does not happen overnight.

That is one of the few well tempered and practical responses I've seen on the Rediff message board since a while.
