15 year old girl, drunk, left alone by her parents, partying till 4 in the morning. I realize a crime has ben committed, but I do feel that the parents have to share the responsibility. They too should face child endangerment charges. For all those commenting out of the US, UK, etc.. that is exactly what would have happened in those countries.

very well said.Parents are solely responsible. We are not a police state nor do we have a moral police like taleban. So if someone leaves her daughter alone in such situations and blames everything on the law and order, that is hypocritical. The mom too has to be charged.

Well said Devraj. I appreciate your balanced words, mainly "parents have to SHARE the responsibility". Unlike extremists like 'Desi dude' and 'Vipin Chaudhary'. One says, "Parents are SOLELY responsible", and the other "you are trying to support the crime". Sitting at extreme ends is easier; balance is what defines the wisdom.
