The mother made a mistake of thinking we are civilized people, like the ones she finds in her country. she was clearly mistaken. that was her only fault.

Do you think it is civilised to allow your 15 your old child to consume drugs?
Do you think it is civilised to allow your 15 year old child to be sexually active?
Do you think it is civilised to leave your 15 year old child all alone in an unknown and dangerous place?
If that is your definition of being civilised then I would prefer to remain an uncivilised savage all my life.
