The mother has said she knew about her daughter's sex and drugs lifestyle in the UK and it does not bother her. Why is she surprised that a person with such morals got involved with drug peddlers in Goa?

Why was the mother in Karnataka leaving her daughter alone in Goa with a tour guide? Is it not irresponsible behaviour by the parent?

If anyone she should blame herself and her parenting methods.

Joaquim, Bad parenting is not same as raping and killing someone. We need to make sure if this was just drowning or rape/murder as the mother describes.
