The Congress President must make a statement to India
by Ashok Gupta on Mar 04, 2008 03:43 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Congress President must clarify and make a statement to India. All this while it is only 2 people the PM and Pranab Mukherjee who are the spokesman - if the agreement is harmful and the congress has been fooling the nation then there must be accountability.

Prime Minister said following lies many times after signing the agreement:
1. Firstly he said Indo-Nuclear deal is a revolution for India.
2. Then said whole Parliament is with me and will make a consensus.
3. Then said if the Left rejects it, it can take back their support.
4. In this situation, he said entire UPA is with me.
5. After the Nuclear Panel formation, when discussion made, Laloo, Pawar, Paswan, Karunanidhi like leaders are also left.
6. When he met BJP leaders, he has a little bit hope, he can pass it in the parliament with voting.
7. After people knowing the deal through the channels, Tehelka exclusive on Gujarat riot, he rejected the voting in Parliament.
8. At last BJP was also against, when discussed Nuclear bill in Parliament.
9. The bitter truth (he never told others -- I think it is also a lie) is that he does not have support of main Congress leaders also.
