This is the worst policy that the government could have come up with.
Kashmiri Pandits have a right to return back to Kashmir. But living in areas exclusively for Pandits is not the best option. This will result in segregation and social unrest.
The government should encourage Kashmiri Pandits to return and live in places of their own choosing. This is the downside of "Centralized" planning.
They must be given a ONE-TIME relocation package. This must not result in special reservations for Kashmiri Pandits.
I aim should be to make them part of the Kashmiri society once again.
Politicians always come up with a way to make things worse.

Why not special rservaions for Kashmiri Pandits in kashmir ? After all, the Pandits are a minority in Kashmir. Don't the Muslims get all kinds of minority reservations all over India, thanks to Womanmohan Singh and Phonyia Gandhi's Congress government ?

Mr. Imran Patel, sitting in the comfort of air-conditioned rooms we all can preach. About a couple of years back I had met a Kashmiri Hindu working at Vadodara. He told that they have no intention to return to Kashmir and are settling down at Vadodara instead. So much for the protection being provided by the Government/s!!!!!!!!

Actually I think that every Indian should get the right to settle in Kashmir, Purchase land, marry kashmiri woman, and also they should be given licenced firearms to defend themselves. I think then any part of India will be in safe hands...Indian Hands.
