China GDP is about three times larger than India, and its exports are eight times larger. China $5,800bn in savings dwarfs India $215bn only.China has $2,400bn of foreign exchange reserves, India has $221bn only. China Economy is now $2.7 trillion and Indian Economy is $906 billion China GNI per capita: US $1,740 and India GNI per capita: US $720

For your information, China's defence budget for 2008 is $56 billion. Yanks' guesswork is just, well, guesswork.
For your information, China's GDP in 2007 was $3.4 trillion and will be $4.2-4.3 this year.
