people here think that it was GnadhiJi who took the decision of partition ....50 years of congress rule..who made their own history books and forced generations to generations to remember only those lines what they wanted...and this way they did not spare even gandhiJi whom they used and threw after taking power from Britishers. Gandhiji never wanted partition. He was back in bihar having holiday when nehru all of sudden called congress meeting in Delhi with help of Patel and Mountbaiten to partition Pakistan away as Jinnah was unstoppable...this was not even jinnahw as knowing that partition is going to happen! In this meeting division of India was decided unanonimously and when gandhiji returned back they just informed him ..did not even care for him. Gandhiji vehmently protested this all. Gandhi was isolated..congress used him for transfer of power from britishers to Nehru and not for independence of India...sucking the chamrism and mass apeal of Gandhi. how one can forget the comment of Nehru on Gandhi..when due to parition violence broke out and Gandhi started his fasting till death to stop violence in Kolkata...when Army chief asked nehru to pay visit to gandhi and stop him from fasting as his condition was critical..Nehru said" Why do you guys bug me always for such useless things..ask Sardar(patel) to make visit.." for all those 15 days nehru never cared for gandhi nor congress ..who saved him..? To this entire period nehru kept on avoiding Gandhiji..Gandhi was badly sidelined by congress..there were no takers of gnadhi..and all pain of this betrayal of Gandhi is wellw ritten by Gandhi himself to jamnalal Bajaj. nehru did not care for gandhi ji even for a while otherwise after partition and especially knowing the communal tension..he should have provided security to gandhiji like he was having for himself..but Gandhi had zero security!!! Congress an nehru poisoned the brains of India for geenrations against Gandhiji becuase they were the people holding the power and politics of India not Gandhi, the scapegoat of so called war of independecne and actually the power grabbing plan of certain elite families of India who wanted to rule somehow...otherwise how one can forget the very first speech of gandhiJi in congress public rally after coming from south africa in which he had called congress a party of power selfish people not fredom fighter...for the first time in the hisotry of congress claps had sounded by real public on any speech...how opne can forget this!

Mr Murli, very nicely put. But i am sorry to say none of your arguments are actually true. Do you have any idea, why Gandhi went on fast. it was not because he wanted to stop violence. two reasons: 1) India should pay a sum of 50 plus crore to pakistan. 2) Gandhi wanted to migrate to pakistan. About second point, no one was stoping him. but paying 50 plus crores was not acceptable. That is the reason, Not only nehru, most of the politicians abondoned him. This is the prime reason why Gandhi was killed. READ AUTOBIOGRAPH OF NATHRAM GODSE. Secondly, if you remember, during Gandhi's fast, atlast when nehru met him, Nehru said - "Bapu aap jit gaye aur main haar gaya." and we lost crores of Rs to pakistan because of Gandhi. oratleast google on assasination of Gandhi you will get lot of information.
