new Mir Jafars

Although the Indian government wants to promote the proposed Indo-US nuclear deal in terms of power generation, the deal has very little to do with power generation. Nuclear power contributes about 2 percent of the current electricity generations in India.
Even if India were to achieve a 50% increase in nuclear power generation (which is unlikely) such a step would only increase India’s overall electricity output by one percent at most, and would only increase India’s overall energy output by a fraction of one percent.
The reason, USA is pushing so hard that India should accept the deal, is, that, this deal is nothing but nuclear non-proliferation treaty in a different name.

The real issue is nuclear weapons. USA do not want India to be a nuclear weapon state. Clinton said that openly, " I loath to even think think that India Pakistan are nuclear armed states". This is the real issue.
Those who have taken bribes from their American boss would support the treaty with the help of most corrupt politicians like Molaem Yadav and Amar Singh, but history will not forgive these new Mir Jafars.

Oh, so now the "peace-loving" communists want atom bombs !! When India tested its atomic bombs in 1998, the same guys protested loudly and made disgraceful remarks against our scientists. Indian communists = hypocrites of the first order.

I think all bangali/commi has habbit to see world from their own eyes and to put so called statistics to convince other ....for what just you want to prove something comes from your brain is the only way to see particuliar issue . I do agree the Nuclear deal is not as brilliant as it has been projected , but it is not as bad as projected by you. Overall nuclear deal is descent deal in this multipolar world...we talk about maximum option of energy for a sucessful nation ..not the % contribution in enrgy . My dear Friend we are going to spend almost more than 1.5% of GDP for oil subsidy, we are already spending 2.1 % GDP for our defence . What is not understood by layman that we have to think about next 20-30 years , not only about present but future as well . In future any nation is going to build by their economy and option of energy. And future will talk about option of energy not its gross contribution. A nation will be graded by how many option of energy is available them.
