May be the politicians were playing Vote bank politics and stayed away...........When Sam jokingly comented that If only I would have accepted Jinnah's offer and moved to Pakistan the outcome of the 1971 war would have been different.............He was very unhappy that the biggest catch of POW's 90000(after WWII) was traded with Pak without any consideration,Indira was in strong position to resolve the Kashmir issue once for and all but she missed the opportunity.......................
