Anybody could have done what Manekshaw did - I do not want to lower the dignity of a departed person but what is so big about him. He just did his job.

There is a world of difference between "Can Do" and "Has Done". Anyone can do anything, but it is the people who go ahead and do it who are important. Mr. Anand being in the armed forces is not your regular 9-5 job(which am sure u must be great at!) tat u talk of it so lightly. For the kind of intergrity,discipline,dedication, passion Mr Manekshaw has shown towards his country, u cant even dare to write what you have written. If he was just doing his job...we shud hav had plenty of Manekshaws n tat includes u too.If tat was the case then we wudnt hav a certain Mr. confused soul called Anand Kirsh writing the crap as to anybody cud hav done what Manekshaw did. Do learn to respect people who deserve respect...else it shows how much respect u deserve.
