On one side India is becoming a major player on the world stage economically, but no one had the decency to attend Sam's last journey and say a formal good bye to the man who changed the history of South East Asia. THESE BLOODY LEADERS SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST THREAT TO OUR COUNTRY, ONLY WORKING FOR THEIR OWN GOOD. WHY DID THE PM AND DEFENCE MIN. NOT GO HIS ATTEND HIS FUNERAL. THERE IS LITTLE DOUBT THAT THE MILITARY IS HAVING PROBLEMS TO ATTRACT THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST CANDIDATES TO SERVE OUR NATION. IF OUR PM HAS ONE BIT OF A RESPECT HE MUST IMMEDIATELY TAKE THE CORRECTIVE ACTION AND IMMEDIATLEY ISSUE A STATEMENT ADMITTING HIS OFFICE HAS MADE A MISTAKE. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO SHOW YOUR RESPECT FOR A PERSON WHO WHOLE HEARTEDLY DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO THE NATION. I salute Mr. Manekshaw who did our country proud, we will be indebted to him and his brave soldiers for serving our country during the Indo-Pak war with great valour and courage. Mother India is proud of her son - Sam Bahadur Manekshaw. JAI HIND. BHARAT MATA KI JAI.

This from a PM who could not sleep when "Terrorist" accused were arrested in Britiain or Australia!! Manmohan for all his Mr. Clean posturing, is a spineless limpet stuck to the soles of the First family. I am amazed that Defense Minister Antony who is different from the breed of politicians we usually see, also did not attend. Was it due to orders from the TOP?? Evn the Defense chiefs??? Something is definitely fishy!
